Tuaca’s origins are a bit unclear. The liqueur is said to have been hand crafted by Lorenzo the Magnificent an Italian ruler who was a patron to Michelangelo & Botticelli. During World War II Americans stationed in Livorno in Italy discovered Tuaca. It was not until the 1950ís that the brand was exported to the United States where it hit the cocktail circuit. Tuaca is a liqueur with a hint of citrus & vanilla drunk neat over ice or in cocktails.

Is a premium dry coffee liqueur bursting with fine flavours of espresso, cocoa and vanilla with subtle notes of liquorice. Toussaint originated in Haiti and was named after the slave hero, Toussaint L’Ouverture. It is said that the taste of the brand mirrors the spirit of Toussaint L’Ouverture. General Toussaint L’Ouverture, who was born in 1743 on the North West coast of the French Caribbean Island colony of Saint Domingue, the western part of which became the second independent republic in the western hemisphere in 1804.

Pernod Fils & Hemard Distilleries created this great French brand in 1920. It is said that Picasso himself drew inspiration from the brand. Pernod is made from star of aniseed & fennel. Pernod also has a tiny addition of liquorice. The brand is either drunk with water turning it white or mixed in cocktails.

Made from a secret recipe created in 1821 by the Luxardo family in Italy. It is used in many cocktails & drunk neat over ice. The bottle is wrapped in straw making it a real icon behind the back bar. It is produced by distillation obtained from the marasca, a sour cherry variety. The distillate is matured for two years in Finnish oak vats.

Only the finest 100% Arabica coffee beans are used in Kahlua. The ground coffee beans are then blended with water, cane spirit, vanilla and of course caramel to create a rich creamy liqueur.
